Here’s how it works:
When you bring your items in, we will select what our customers will buy. Occasionally there are items we cannot sell or would price too low to benefit either one of us. We call these “no thank yous – NTYs”. Please understand that our customers’ preferences must be our selection guidelines and that it is nothing personal.
We base our prices on supply and demand. We will get the best possible prices for you. We start our prices at or around 1/3 of the retail price. It is then adjusted due to condition, age, season, etc. There is a small processing fee that is included in the selling price of each item, which is passed on to the buyer, but not included in the consignor’s split.You will receive 40% of the final selling price. Feel free to shop using your account credit at anytime. You may also request a payout anytime throughout your term. Please give a 24 hour notice to be sure we have it ready for you when you stop in for it!
We will display your items for no less than 60 days. There will be a $10 fee for any requests to pull an item before the given end date. The selling price may be discounted throughout your term, according to market demand, overstock or for end-of-season at our discretion, but will not typically discount any consigned item more than 50% off the original price.
Your End Date will be included in your drop off email, along with your consignor access account. If you would like to retrieve any unsold items please do so by notifying DANI’S any time during the last week of your consignment term. Any requests to claim unsold items after the given end date will be charged a $10 fee. NO requests will be granted if more than 7 days have passed after the end date. A timely notification will ensure we have all remaining items pulled and set aside for you to pick up during the week after your term has ended. If you do not wish to pick up remaining unsold items, they will become the property of DANI’S. We have limited space to store unsold items waiting to be picked up, so please pick your things up in a timely manner, as we allow the entire following week for consignors to pick up at their convenience. If you don’t retrieve your things by the end of that following week, or if we haven’t agreed upon other arrangements, we will assume you decided not to retrieve the items and they will become the property of DANI’S.
You may also choose to have your unsold items donated to a charity of DANI’S choosing (typically Pennridge FISH–a local clothing and food pantry in Perkasie) and will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt upon request.
We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss. The DANI’S Team looks forward to a long and mutually profitable partnership with you!
